MONDAY INSPIRATION ☀️
Summer is here!
Good morning, readers!
Summer has officially arrived, and wow—it is hot, hot, hot! 🥵
The long days are here, the sun is blazing, and whether you’re lounging by the pool, hiding in the air conditioning, or enjoying a good book on the porch with a cold drink, there’s no denying summer has made its presence known.
I’m sure a lot of you are planning or are on family trips—which can be their own kind of stress! We spend so much of the year rushing from one obligation to the next that we sometimes forget to simply enjoy where we are. Summer reminds us to pause, breathe, and savor life’s simple pleasures.
That brings me to a quote from Henry David Thoreau that I’ve always loved:
“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.”
What a wonderful reminder. Every season has something to teach us, and summer’s lesson might just be joy. Not the big, dramatic kind, but the quiet joy of an evening walk, a family barbecue, a good conversation, or a few uninterrupted hours with a story that sweeps you away.
So this week, I hope you’ll embrace the season you’re in. Let yourself enjoy the sunshine, laugh a little louder, stay up a little later, and make room for the moments that become memories.
Wishing you a week filled with warmth, happiness, and all the sweetness summer has to offer.
