Dear Readers,
Spring is on its way, but winter isn’t quite ready to loosen its grip. The mornings are still crisp, and the evenings beg for something warm and hearty. I’ve been making the most of these last chilly days by working my way through my favorite soup and chili recipes before the sun melts away my craving for comfort food. There’s just something about a slow-cooked meal filling the house with rich, savory aromas—pure coziness in a bowl.
Don’t get me wrong—I’m looking forward to longer days, blooming flowers, and the kind of warmth that lingers on your skin. But for now, I’m embracing this in-between season, enjoying the best of both worlds. The grass is always greener, I suppose, but maybe the secret is to appreciate whichever side we’re standing on.
Speaking of good food and savoring the moment, Julia Child once said:
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.”
I love that. Passion keeps life rich, whether it’s in the kitchen, in our work, or in the relationships we cherish. Did anyone else grow up watching The French Chef? Julia’s joy, curiosity, and fearless approach to learning was a lesson in itself.
So as you step into this new week, hold tight to what excites you. Stay curious, stay passionate, and savor the process—whether you’re stirring a pot of something delicious or stirring up new adventures. Every moment counts.
Have a beautiful week! 💕
