Dear Readers,

Spring has finally sprung! After what felt like an endless winter, the warmer days and budding blossoms are a welcome relief. Of course, it won’t be all sunny skies from now until summer — life always has its ups and downs — but there’s something so invigorating about the promise of new beginnings.

Speaking of fresh starts, I have a special reason to celebrate this week. My younger son, Grant, just turned 29! It feels like yesterday he was a little boy, and now he and his gorgeous wife, Cally, are settling beautifully into married life after their wedding last fall. Watching them embark on this new chapter fills my heart with so much joy and hope for the future.

As the world blooms around us, I’m reminded of a lovely quote by Mark Twain:

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”

Spring is the perfect time to shake off the heaviness of winter and embrace what’s next — whether it’s a personal goal, a new relationship, or simply the joy of longer days and brighter skies.
