MONDAY INSPIRATION ❤️
Crossing those lines... Taking those risks...
Good morning, my lovely readers!
Tomorrow is release day for my newest book, Crossed Lines—and I have to tell you, this one has been living in my heart for a long time.
There’s something especially compelling about stories where the lines aren’t so clear. Where right and wrong blur. Where loyalty is tested, truths are revealed, and the choices we make carry real consequences. Crossed Lines dives straight into that space—into the tension between what we believe is right…and what we feel we have to do.
And isn’t that something we all face, in one way or another?
Life isn’t always black and white. Sometimes we find ourselves standing in the gray, making the best decisions we can with the information—and the emotions—we have in that moment. It’s uncomfortable. It’s complicated. But it’s also where growth happens.
This quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald has always struck me as a beautiful reflection of that complexity:
“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.”
There’s a grace in that. The ability to sit with contradiction. To acknowledge that life—and people—are rarely simple. That strength doesn’t always come from certainty, but from navigating uncertainty with honesty and courage.
In Crossed Lines, the characters are forced to confront exactly that. Secrets come to light. Loyalties are questioned. And the choices they make will shape not only their futures, but the lives of those around them.
If you love stories that explore the tension between truth and desire, between past and future, I think this one will stay with you.

As we step into this new week, I hope you give yourself permission to live in the gray when you need to. To trust yourself, even when the path isn’t perfectly clear. And to remember that sometimes, the most meaningful choices are the ones that challenge us the most.
Wishing you a week of courage, clarity, and stories that make you think — and feel.
With all my heart,
